Narcan training available to Somerset County residents

In Maryland, Somerset County residents will have two opportunities this month to receive training to administer Narcan, a brand of the naloxone drug.

Residents with a family member or friend suffering from addiction can register for training on May 20th or June 17th with the Somerset County Health Department.

After training, participants will receive a voucher to obtain the prescription at a local pharmacy.

The department says spaces are limited. For more information, call 443-523-1790.
