Maryland man accused of sending a local teen child porn

A Maryland man is now facing child pornography charges in Worcester County.

Hector Adolfo Ochoa-Barrios, of Silver Spring, is accused of sexually soliciting and sending pictures of child pornography to a 14-year-old.

On Tuesday, officials with the Worcester County Sheriff’s office assumed the identity of the 14-year-old and continued talking with Ochoa-Barrios. They say Ochoa-Barrios continued sexually soliciting what he believed to be the 14-year-old.

Detectives reportedly arranged a meeting with him Thursday, where he was arrested.

Sheriff officials say Ochoa-Barrios later admitted to downloading child pornography on his cell phone and tablet.

According to reports, he also was using a social security number that wasn’t his.

Ochoa-Barrios is being held at the Worcester County Jail.

Officials say he is a “Nonimmigrant Overstay” which means he entered the country legally but overstayed his visa. He is now being entered into the Immigration system.
