Local support for Brooke’s Toy Chest

Brooke Mulford was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2008. Although she’s moved to New Jersey, Brooke continues to inspire folks on Delmarva.
On Tuesday at the Henry Parker Athletic Complex, Brooke’s former teammates on the Salisbury Football Club and the P.R.M.C. Foundation continued to show their support for Brooke’s Toy Chest.
They collected two tubs of toys which will continue to fulfill Brooke’s wishes of providing one toy for every child that either visits the E.R. or pediatric unit at P.R.M.C. Denise Billing, President of the P.R.M.C. Foundation says she sees a lot of children benefiting from the program.
“Kids really like when they’re there to have something comfortable like a stuffed animal or a doll that kind of thing,” Billing says. Billing tells 47 ABC that P.R.M.C. is always accepting new toy donations due the high rate at which they hand them out.
