Local organizations collect food items for Baltimore

Baltimore City police and fire department have been working tirelessly to ensure that everyone is safe and Wicomico First Alert and the Salisbury Jaycee’s teamed up to collect food items to send to Baltimore.
Multiple businesses across Salisbury were set up as drop-off locations including Nock Insurance, JT’s Grill, Expresstech Computers, Pam’s Hallmark and the Residence Inn by Marriott. They were asking for items like bottled water, Gatorade, granola bars and snacks to eat on the go.
Seaford Young Marine Richard Pope tells 47 ABC, “You’re hearing stories of 96 hour days and they don’t have enough supplies they need high energy and they need a way to keep going because the moment they stop going, things get worse.”
If you would like to donate to support the Baltimore City Police and Fire Department you may do so by visiting any of these locations until midnight on Thursday.
