Harrington woman arrested on assault charges

A Harrington woman is behind bars, after she reportedly threatened to kill someone during an argument.
Harrington Police say on Tuesday, Officers responded to a home on Madison Avenue, for reports of an assault. Once on scene, Officers reportedly learned that 33-year-old Karen Johnson, and a 51-year-old got into an argument, which turned physical.
During the dispute, Police say Johnson assaulted the victim and threatened to kill them. Johnson was arrested, while the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Johnson has since been charged with assault 2nd degree, strangulation, reckless endangering 2nd degree, terroristic threatening, and offensive touching. She is now reportedly being held on $15,000 bond.
