Eight are confirmed dead inside of a home in Princess Anne, the cause of death is currently unknown.

Princess Anne Police Chief, Scott Keller, says on Monday morning, an employer concerned about one of his employees, went to the Police Department to make a missing persons report. Officers then reportedly responded to the employee’s home, where there was no answer.

Later, Police say they were able to get a key to the home, and make entry, where they found a total of eight deceased people, 1 adult male and seven children ranging in age from 6 to 16-years-old. They were all reportedly members of the same family. The mother has reportedly been notified, and was not living at the home.

Police say there was absolutely no signs of foul play, and none suspected. At this time, Officials say they cannot confirm the causes of death, and don’t want to speculate. Officers on scene reportedly found that there was no electricity in the home, but there was a generator running inside.

Keller expressed how tragic the event is, to not only the family, but the community, employer, and responding Police Officers as well.
