DSP issue Gold Alert for missing Lewes man

The Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for James C. Custis, 86, of Lewes, Delaware. Troopers say Custis apparently has not been heard from since approximately 10:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Police say the last time anyone has heard from him was after he spoke to a family member on the phone.
Delaware State Police say there is a concern for Custis’ safety and welfare as troopers have been unable to make contact with him to check on his welfare and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
Troopers say Custis is a black male, about 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds, with brown eyes, and grey hair. Police say Custis may be operating a gray 2010 Toyota pick-up truck with DE registration C487108.
Police say anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of James C. Custis they are asked to call Troop 7 at 302-664-5020. Or by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
