DSP conducting death investigation on Sea Shore Highway in Bridgeville

Delaware state police are conducting a death investigation on Sea Shore highway between Sanflippo Road and Oak road following a police chase.
Delaware state police say that around 6:30 Friday night, an off duty trooper recognized a maroon impala resembling the one used in a Milford PNC bank robbery that took place on Thursday.
Additional troopers then reportedly pursued the vehicle on Route 13 before the vehicle redirected onto Sea Shore Highway.
Tire deflation devices were deployed and reportedly stopped the impala.
Following the vehicle coming to a stop police approached the vehicle to find that a 35 year-old man had taken his own life.
An unharmed 31 year-old female, who was driving the car, was taken into custody and has not yet been charged at this time.
Delaware State Police along with Milford Police are still investigating the incident.
