Dover Police on scene of fatal shooting at Pine Grove Apartments

Police in Dover say they are currently on the scene of a fatal shooting.

Dover Police say they responded to the scene just after 9:40 AM on Thursday, to the Pine Grove Apartment Complex. Officers, along with Delaware State Police Troopers are reportedly now searching the area for a possible suspect.

During the search, Police say all students and staff at W. Reilly Brown Elementary School were advised to stay indoors, but that lockdown has since been lifted. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area of Webbs Lane between Governors Avenue and New Burton Road.
