Dewey Beach looks to enhance tourism attraction

Summer is right around the corner and towns all across Delmarva are gearing up for the roaring crowds that flood in to experience the beaches and small towns, especially Dewey Beach.

A number of things are being done to the town to enhance it’s image and make it more appealing to families. According to Dewey Beach Mayor Diane Hanson, the town is offering free movies on the beach, free parking until 11 PM and they are even offering volleyball on Tuesday evenings. They are also working on their noise issues.

Mayor Hanson says another great feature of Dewey Beach is the ability to see the sunrise and the sunset without going anywhere.
