Decatur Girls Lax Roll WiHi, Remain Perfect

The Stephen Decatur girls lacrosse team picked up a road win at WiHi 18-2. The win improves the Seahawks to 9-0, while the loss drops the Indians to 1-9.

The Seahawks wasted 3 seconds before scoring their first goal of the game, and they just kept going from there. Lexi VanKirk would find the back of the net a couple times in the early goings, while also registering a couple assists. Her sister Payton VanKirk would then get into the scoring action as well. The Tribe continued to battle, and Moesha Johnson would come up with several saves to keep the Indians hanging around, but Decatur would continue to keep coming to put the game away.

Decatur returns to action Monday when they travel to Worcester Prep, while WiHi returns to action Wednesday when they host Parkside.
