Confirmed drowning in Salisbury

Police say a drowning incident occurred on Riverside Drive on Sunday night.

Salisbury Police say the call came in around 9:30 p.m. According to Chief Barbara Duncan, a drowning did occur; however, it is not immediately clear how many people were involved or whether the drowning involved a male or female.

Police would not comment on whether the drowning was intentional or accidental.

Very few details have been released at this time.
