Colonel Richardson Baseball Rolls By Cambridge-SD

Cambridge-South Dorchester baseball hosted Colonel Richardson on Thursday afternoon – a gloomy day outside, but it was a great day of baseball. The Colonels bats were on fire early and their defense remained solid throughout the game.

The Colonels opened up the game in the top of the first with three runs, taking a 3-0 lead after one. After a silent second inning on both sides, Colonel Richardson came out to play – scoring six runs in the top of the third to take a 9-0 lead. The Vikings fought back in the bottom of the third scoring a run of their own; however, the solo run in the third inning became the Vikings only run of the game.

Colonel Richardson would score another two runs in the top of the fifth inning, and that would do it – the Colonels win, 11-1, the final.

– Colonel Richardson travels to Queen Anne’s County next Monday, 4/13 at 4:00 pm.
