Cambridge-SD Boys Lacrosse Wins At Home

Cambridge boys lacrosse played host to the North Caroline Bulldogs on Friday evening and took control of their home field advantage very quickly.

The Vikings wasted no time getting things going and were able to put away six goals in just the first quarter alone. Tyler Wright finished the first quarter with a hat trick helping his team grab an early lead. Unfortunately, some bad news for Cambridge – South Dorchester in the first quarter as well – Kobi Ruark was injured coming off of a face-off. Ruark would walk his way off the field with some help from coaches and trainers, but he appeared to be in a lot of pain. Trainers were working on his leg – it looked like it was an injury with his leg or potentially, his ankle.

North Caroline’s, Shane Scharf continues to put in work at goal, but the Vikings were too much to handle. Ruark’s teammates would rally and fight on for their teammate with a huge win over North Caroline, 15-1 the final.
