Bennett Boys Lax Downs Kent County

The James M. Bennett boys lacrosse team picked up another win Wednesday when they defeated Kent County at home 15-8. The win improves the Clippers to 6-3, while the loss drops the Trojans to 3-5.

The Clippers would jump out to a quick lead, led by Oakley Wise. He would find the back of the 3 times, including one off a perfect pass from Kevin Davis, in the first half to help Bennett take a comfortable lead into the second half. The Trojans tried to fight their way back into the game, and after Ray Gill was able to beat the keeper with a low bouncer, they found themselves within striking distance. But Bennett would put the game away and hold on for the win. 

Bennett returns to the field Friday when they travel to Parkside, while the Trojans return to the field Friday when they host Queen Anne’s.
