Bennett Boys Lacrosse Keep Streak Alive, Down Cambridge

The James M. Bennett boys lacrosse team kept their win streak alive Friday coming away with a 12-10 win over Cambridge South Dorchester. The win improves the Clippers to 4-2, while the loss drops the Vikings to 1-2

The teams would be locked in a defensive battle to open the game with neither team being able to grab much of a lead. Then finally the Clippers would break through and start the scoring action after Danny Gregory came up with an unbelievable goal off a loose ball, that he picked up and slug past the keeper.  Bennett would eventually go up by a few goals, but the Vikings would fight back. Goals from Emory Wongus and Trevor North would get their team back within 1, but the Clippers would close the door. Chad Fam would find the back of the net to give his team some breathing room, and they would hold on from there.

Bennett returns to action Wednesday when they travel to Queen Anne’s, while Cambridge returns to the field Monday when they travel to Queen Anne’s.
