1 injured, after late night fire in Salisbury

Maryland State Fire Marshal Office is currently investigating a heavy fire in back of an apartment building in Salisbury, Monday night .
Reports say Salisbury stations 1, 2, 16, and the Delmar Fire Departments responded to the 700 block of Elizabeth Street at about 11:00 PM for a reported fire. It took fire officials roughly 50 mutinies to reportedly contain the fire. Salisbury Fire Department’s Assistant Chief Bryan Records told 47 ABC the fire was caused by a man working on a motorcycle fuel pump with gas on the second floor porch of the building. A 23-year-old man was transported to PRMC with non-life threatening burn injuries. Records also says that the incident, given the circumstances could have been a lot worse.
The estimated cost of loss is about $7,000.
