Winter weather causes accidents on the shore

The snow is no longer falling, but now residents are dealing with the danger on the ground. The mix of rain and snow made for slippery slushy conditions Thursday afternoon.

Delaware State Police say in Kent and Sussex Counties tell us they responded to 95 property damage accidents ten accidents with injuries, and 52 cases of disabled vehicles.

On the Eastern Shore of Maryland 47 ABC called police barracks around the state. At last check, troopers say they responded to a total of 103 calls for service, 80 of which were crashes and cases of disabled vehicles. Of those incidents, police say three resulted in minor injuries. This data does not include numbers from the Berlin Barracks.

On the Eastern Shore of Virginia, State Police say they had 69 calls for service earlier this evening, of which 10 were crashes. Police say 12 were disabled vehicles.
