Warriors cruise to victory over Eagles

The Pocomoke Warriors girls basketball team advanced to the 1A East section II, defeating Cambridge 62-29.

Dynasia Christian led all scorers in the game with 18 points, teammate Tymera DeShields pitched in with 17, while Shayla Jones added 13. Jahzyna Butler led Cambridge with 10.

The win pushes Pocomoke to their third meeting with Mardela, whom defeated Pocomoke twice this season. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Mardela Springs, MD.
