Two suspects in custody after Queen Anne’s Co. shooting

Two men are behind bars in Queen Anne’s County facing attempted murder charges after a shooting earlier this year.

Both Emmanuel Cruz and Angelo Palumbo Jr. have been linked to a shooting on Grasonville Cemetery Road that left one man hospitalized. According to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s office, the victim, Dontez Tingle, and another man were in a car on Grasonville Cemetery Road when Tingle was shot.

Details on how Cruz and Palumbo are linked to the shooting are limited.

Cruz was arrested Monday, and Palumbo was taken into custody earlier in March. Both men are being held on bond and face numerous charges, including attempted first degree murder and first degree assault.

Officials with the Sheriff’s office say the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
