Two juveniles arrested on assault charges

Two teens were arrested on Saturday, after they reportedly assaulted a driver was had just parked.

Harrington Police say on February 28th, a driver was pulling into the parking lot of the Clarks Corner Apartments, when two juveniles in the refused to move out of the way. The two juveniles were reportedly standing in the lot, and wouldn’t move for the vehicle. Eventually, the two apparently moved, and the person was able park.

Police say when the driver got out of the car, the two juveniles approached, and started arguing with the victim, which quickly escalated when the 12-year-old of Harrington and 15-year-old of Felton, assaulted the victim, leaving them with a black eye and cut lip.

Both juveniles were arrested, and charged with assault 3rd degree, conspiracy 3rd degree, and disorderly conduct. They were later turned over to the custody of their parents, pending a future court appearance in Kent County Family Court.
