Two arrested in connection to SBY robberies

Salisbury Police say two suspects have been apprehended for their involvement in two reported armed robberies occurring on March 2, and March 3, 2015. Police say Donte Lamar Stone, 25, and Terrell Showell, 24, both of Salisbury, were arrested this week, after a preliminary investigation say two victims reported they were approached and robbed, with Stone allegedly possessing a hand gun in one instance.
Police say the first victim was riding a bike on N. Salisbury Blvd at around 4:26 PM March 2. Stone reportedly exited the vehicle, brandishing a handgun and demanding money. Police say he made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim, as well as a cellphone, backpack and wallet.
The next incident reportedly the next day around 12:40 PM, where Salisbury police were notified of a victim walking along S. Salisbury Blvd., and Lloyd St. Police say this victim was approached by a vehicle driven by Showell, with Stone in the passenger seat. Reports say the victim reportedly recognized Showell. Police say the victim requested a ride to another undisclosed location on Route 13. Showell instead drove to the area of Route 50 and Mill Street, according to police. Stone again reportedly brandished a handgun, but police say this time he struck the victim in the face with the firearm, after taking the victim’s phone and wallet.
Police say Showell was located and arrested on March 4, and charged with conspiracy to commit, armed robbery, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and theft.
Police say Stone was located a day later on March 5, and charged with armed robbery, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and theft, and a handgun charge. Police say the two were released to Wicomico County Booking, and have not released any bond information.
Police are still looking for more information on this crime, including the black, long-barreled firearm reportedly used by stone in both incidents. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department or Crime Solvers (410) 548-1776.
