Troopers search for two sex offenders

State police are searching for two moderate-risk Tier 2 sex offenders, after authorities say they failed to verify their address or failed to re-register as a sex offender as required by law.

Police say 27-year-old Stefan B. Ewell is registered as homeless in the Dover area. We’re told he is a medium-risk Tier 2 sex offender who has failed to re-register as a sex offender. Authorities describe Ewell as a black male, who is 5’09” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. We’re told he has black hair and brown eyes.

Troopers are also looking for 38-year-old Michael B. Warncke of Magnolia. Warncke is apparently a medium-risk Tier 2 sex offender who has failed to verify his address. Police describe Warncke as a 6’00” tall white male, who weighs approximately 300 pounds.

Anyone who may know the location of Ewell or Warncke is asked to call Delaware State Police at 302-672-5306.
