SU Men’s Lacrosse Loses In A Heartbreaker

The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team hosted the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops on Sunday afternoon in a crazy and exciting game.

The SU Gulls opened up the game taking the lead, but it would be the Bishops that would fight back with 2 goals of their own – one coming just 3 seconds before halftime.

The Gulls came out ready to play in the second half putting away a quick three goals without any response – SU taking a 5-2 lead. The Bishops battled and fought their way back in the game tying the game up at 6. With just under a minute left in the game, SU tied the game up at 8 forcing the game to go into overtime. However, it would be Ohio Wesleyan who walks away and celebrates on SU’s home field.

It was a tough loss for the Gulls, but they put up a great fight throughout the game.
