Stay Ready Ryderz host “Ball for a Cause”

Saturday, the Stay Ready Ryderz bike club held their seventh annual Ball for a Cause basketball tournament.
Over the course of seven years, the bike club along with their sponsoring organizations, have earned $12,000 through their tournament. All of that money was donated to charity.
Organizers say they earned about $1,400 Saturday; and this year it will go to the Salvation Army Youth Center in Salisbury.
They say the point of the tournament is not only to raise money, but to have a little fun as well.
Darrell Corbin, the president of Stay Ready Ryderz says, “It gives the young people a chance to see different talent in high school, different talent in college, and give everybody a chance to work together as a unit.”
