South Edges North In Boys Bayside All-Star Game

Wicomico High School played host to the 30th annual Bayside All-Star game Wednesday night, as the top players from the North squared off against the best players from the South, with the South holding on late for a 114-107 win.
Parkside’s Colen Gaynor gave the people what they came to see early on, throwing down a pair of huge dunks to get his team started. Once he got going, Washington’s Shakur Cottman would find a rhythm, getting to the rack for a couple easy buckets as well. After a slow start, the North would battle back behind the high scoring of Colonel Richardson’s David Dickerson who finished with a came high 34 points. The teams would be tied after the first. Headed into the second quarter, Easton’s Leon Flournoy would find his bounce down low, throwing down a pair of dunks on his way to finishing with 20 points. The teams would be tied late before Parkside’s Dajour Diggs would take over, connecting on several long balls to put the game away.
