Snow melt could mean messy clean-up for dog owners

With the snow finally starting to melt across Delmarva, the dog clean-up business is beginning to pick-up…literally.

Pet Poop Patrol staff in Salisbury say many dog owners have a rude awakening this time of year when it comes to their backyards.

When pets have to go in the snow, they say it is more difficult to clean-up or even know where the mess is, until the snow melts.

“Every dog, according to the vets, does his business or gives us a prize about 15 or 20 times a week,” says Don Bailey, owner of Pet Poop Patrol. “So, you can imagine after a month, it becomes a landmine out there, somebody has to pick it up and I’m your guy.”
