Smyrna cruises for easy victory over Conrad

The Smyrna Eagles dominated their round one opener from start to finish, crushing Conrad 72-47 Wednesday night.

Junior Javier Worthy led the charge with a team-high 18 points, while freshman sharpshooting sensation Caleb Matthews poured in 14, while senior Latrelle Lee finished with 11. Jordon Blake scored 24 points for Conrad in the loss, scoring 51% of his team’s total offense.

The win advances Smyrna to the second round, where they will take on William Penn. Game time is set for Friday, March 6th at 7 p.m. at William Penn High School.
