Sen. Mikulski fights for Chesapeake jobs

Senator Barbara Mikulski may have announced her plans to retire, but continues her fight for jobs in Chesapeake Bay communities.
Mikulski has apparently set up the completion of three projects to protect lower Somerset County and Smith Island from future storms and erosions.
The projects have been named the Crisfield Tidal Dike, the Rhodes Point Jetty and the Great Point Restoration.
Somerset County has reportedly set aside more than 9 million dollars in federal U.S. Department of Housing funding and another Block Grant Disaster Recovery fund to make room for the projects.
