Polytech girls lacrosse crushes Smyrna

The Polytech girls lacrosse team got off to a fast start, outscoring Smyrna 14-1 in the first half, on the way to an 18-1 final.

Alison McKay led Polytech with 9 goals on the day, while Madi McKay added 5. Jamie Trabaudo and Katie Richardson both added two goals a piece. Maddie Price scored Smyrna’s only goal, while Eagles’ goalkeeper Gabby DiRusso knocked away a game-high 7 shots.

Polytech is back in action Monday, when they travel to Appoquinimink, while Smyrna host Christiana on Thursday.
