Parkside Softball Has No Problem Finding Footing Vs. Pocomoke

The Parkside softball team overcame a slow start to take down Pocomoke 13-3. The win improves the Rams to 2-0, while the loss drops the Warriors to 0-1.

The Rams would find themselves in a battle with the Warriors early on. Parkside would be up a couple runs before Pocomoke started a comeback. Mackensie Beauchamp would rip an RBI single into the left field to start a rally. The Warriors would get the bases loaded, but a force out would end the threat. The Rams would then look to answer in the bottom of the frame, and string together a couple RBI hits from Maggie Cannon and Hannah Clarke as they would start to pull away. McKenna Reddick would then settle down and find her groove on her way to her first varsity win. 

Parkside returns to action Thursday when they host Bennett, while Pocomoke travels to Mardela Wednesday.
