One arrested in Salisbury after reportedly attempting to run over bystander

A Salisbury woman is behind bars, after she apparently attempted to run someone over.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Sunday, 30-year-old April Figgs got into an altercation on Harford Road. According to the report, after the altercation, Figgs got into a vehicle, and drove away, doing a “burn out” in the front yard on the way out.

The Deputy says Figgs also tried to run down a person who tried to stop her.

Deputies reportedly caught up with Figgs shortly after the incident, and took her into custody. She was charged with assault 1st degree, and after an initial appearance, was ordered to be held at the Wicomico County Detention Center on $75,000 bond.
