Motions hearing set for alleged Christmas Day shooter

The accused shooter in a fatal Christmas Day shooting on Kiowa Avenue is set to appear in court on Friday.

24-year-old Jack Braboy is set to appear in court for a motions hearing.

Braboy was arrested this past Christmas in connection to the alleged shooting death of his mother, 49-year old Mary Alonzo on Kiowa Avenue.

His hearing is expected to start around 9 a.m. at Wicomico County Circuit Court.

State’s attorney Matt Maciarello says Braboy faces a number of charges including first degree murder.
