Milford grinds out win over Smyrna
The Milford Bucs got win number three on the early season, knocking off Smyrna 7-5, Friday night in Buccaneer Staduim.
Tied 1-1, Milford went up 2-1 on a goal from Matthew Viramontes. Smyrna would look to tie the game in the second, Jake Keiser had a shot right in front of goal, but Milford goalkeeper Clay Stevenson would make a great save. Zach Heesh would put the game away after picking up a ground ball and going to the net with the shot.
Milford will travel to Polytech on Monday afternoon, while Smyrna hosts Wilmington Friends also on Monday, both games start at 4 p.m.
