Miguel Santos trial postponed

The trial for Miguel Santos, a Salisbury man being charged with resisting arrest, drunk driving, and a series of other charges, has been postponed.
47ABC spoke with Santos back in January following his arrest. He claimed that he was guilty of driving under the influence. However, he explained that when he was pulled over by law enforcement, the responding deputy apparently rough-housed him to the point of causing Santos to receive a fractured hand, black eye, and back injury.
Santos’ attorney Luke Rommel tells 47ABC, the reason the trial was postponed today is because there’s apparently a DVD of the encounter between Santos and the deputy that hasn’t been seen by Santos’ defense team.
The new trial date is set for March 30th.
