Mar. 25 – Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

This program provides free examination and screening for colorectal cancer for individuals over 50 in Dorchester County who are financially eligible. Individual education and group presentations are available upon request to the general public.

Eligibility: Men and women who are 50 years of age or older, who do not have insurance or their insurance does not cover screening or who have a family history of colon cancer or adenomatous polyps, and meet financial requirements are eligible for this program.

Fees: This is a free service to those who qualify. Please call to verify eligibility.
