Man arrested on burglary warrant with stolen handgun during Dover traffic stop

Police in Dover say they have finally arrested a wanted burglary suspect, and found a stolen handgun in the process.
Dover Police say just before 11:00 PM on Friday, Officers with the Safe Streets and Patrol Units stopped a vehicle on Queen and Cecil Streets. During the stop, Police say they found that the driver, 23-year-old Emilio Freeman, of Pennsylvania, was wanted by the Delaware State Police for burglary.
Freeman was arrested, and during a search of his car, Officers say they found a .40 caliber Glock handgun where Freeman was sitting. Police say they later linked the handgun to a theft from a vehicle that happened three days before in Dover.
Freeman was charged with receiving stolen firearm, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of firearm by person prohibited, possession of ammunition by person prohibited, and burglary warrant. He is now being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $20,000 secure bond.
