Felton man arrested in Harrington on 3rd DUI charge

A Felton man was arrested over the weekend, on what Police are saying is his third driving under the influence charge.
Harrington Police say on Sunday, around 12:45 AM, Officers stopped a vehicle on Delaware Avenue, near Simmons Street, for going 45 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. The driver, identified as 49-year-old James Baines Jr., reportedly smelled like alcohol, so was put through field sobriety testing.
Police say they then took Baines into custody, and after finding that he had two precious DUI convictions dating back to 2004, and a suspended license, charged him with 3rd offense DUI along with driving under the influence, speeding, driving wit a suspended or revoked license, and other numerous traffic charges.
He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institute on $7,300 cash only bail.
