DSU falters in second half to end season

The DSU men’s basketball team saw their 2014-2015 season come to an end, falling to Radford 78-57, in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational.

The teams were tied 35-35 at the half. DSU was paced by reserve guard DeAndre Haywood’s 15, and shot 44% in the first half. 

The second half was unkind to the Hornets, they were outscored 43-22 as the Highlanders went on run midway thru the second half. Seniors Amere May and Kendall Gray did not play in the game.

The Hornets finish the season 18-18.
