DSP issue gold alert for a missing Seaford man

Delaware State Police have issued a gold alert for a Seaford man missing since Sunday.

Reports say 29-year-old John L. Short IV was last seen at his mother’s home at the 12000 block of Baker Mill Road in Seaford, at about 6:20 PM Sunday evening. He was last seen wearing a hospital gown and is known to visit the Laurel and Seaford area.

Troopers have been unable to make contact with Short to check on his welfare. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and there is a real concern for his safety and welfare.
