Dover PD investigate home burglary

Dover Police are investigating a home burglary, where a handgun was reportedly stolen.

According to authorities, between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, an unknown suspect forced his or her way into a home in the 200-block of Dover East Estates located at 1061 S. Little Creek Road.

Apparently, the suspected entered through the back door. 

Once inside, we’re told a .357 magnum handgun was stolen from the bedroom before the suspect fled the area.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7111.  Callers may remain anonymous.
