Dover man facing rape charges after child is born

A Dover man is in custody for the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Larry Cunningham, 59, was reportedly arrested and now stands charged with 20 counts of 4th degree rape. Detectives say Cunningham and the victim reportedly had sexual relations on at least 20 occasions over a six month period.

In that time period, police say, the victim did become pregnant, and has delivered a baby belonging to Cunningham.

In addition to the rape charges, Cunningham, who is a tier 3 sex offender, was also charged with one count of contact with a child by a registered sex offender. He is being held on $106,000 secured bond.
