DMA escapes with round 1 win over Dover

After jumping out to a 13-10 lead in the first quarter, the Dover Senators girls basketball team could hold on to another lead, falling to Delaware Military Academy 50-47 Wednesday night.

DMA senior Renada L’Italien scored 24 points for the Seahawks in the win, with teammate Lindsey Wolfe added 14. For Dover, sophomore Brionna Hill scored a game-high 25 points.

Dover finishes the season at 14-6, and should have 10 returners for next season, with only two seniors on their roster.
