Del. police arrest man after month-long drug investigation

NEWARK, Del. (AP) – State police say they’ve arrested a Newark man after a month-long investigation into heroin dealing from his home.
Police say task force officers executed a search warrant Friday morning at the home of 35-year-old Robert Rivera. Police recovered more than 100 small bags of heroin and took Rivera into custody.
Rivera’s two daughters, ages 12 and 8, were home at the time of the raid. Police say they were turned over to a relative.
Rivera has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, endangering the welfare of a child and other offenses. He’s been released after posting bond. A telephone number for him could not be located.
