Cambridge senior arrested on drug charges

A 72-year-old Cambridge man is behind bars, after Police reportedly linked him to the sale of illegal drugs in the area.
Cambridge Police say on Saturday, an investigation into drug activity in the City by their Special Operations Unit and Safe Streets Operations, led to the arrest of Donnie Crosland. According to the report, Crosland had narcotics, and a stolen .38 caliber handgun in his possession, during the arrest.
He was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine within 1000′ of a school zone, common nuisance, distributing narcotics, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a stolen firearm, and other related offenses.
He is now being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond.
