Caesar Rodney Girls Lacrosse Falls At Home

The Caesar Rodney Riders hosted the Caravel Buccaneers in a high-scoring battle on Friday afternoon.

Both teams were playing very well – moving the ball around, but Caravel began to  take the lead in the second half. The Bucs controlled the middle of the field and put away their opportunities. The Riders tried to come back, but Caravel continued to move the ball around making it difficult to gain possession to generate offense.

Caesar Rodney’s — Delaney Steele capped off the game 9 goals, Kourtney Olsen added another 6 goals, and Jenna Rigby contributed another 5 goals!

The Riders got back within three goals of the Bucs, but it would not be enough as Caravel would go on to win the game, 23-20.
