A Bridgeville man is behind bars, after Police apparently linked him to two burglaries at one location.

Milford Police say on March 9th, a joint investigation between their Criminal Division and the Delaware State Police Criminal Investigation Unit, connected 31-year-old Joshua Hillard to two burglaries at the Shore Stop convenience store on Bay Road.

The crimes reportedly took place on January 18th and 20th of this year. Detectives say Hillard broke into the store on those two occasions, after hours, and took merchandise.

Police have charged Hillard with 2 counts of burglary 3rd degree, 2 counts of possession of burglar tools, 2 counts of theft under $1,500, and criminal mischief over $1,000.
