Ben Carson running for president?
World renowned neurosurgeon and author Ben Carson is looking to dabble into another field. He’s shown formal interest in politics.
Carson has officially filed with the Federal Election Commission to formally consider a run for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Carson says he believes in his values, experience, and ability to seek solutions. He thinks that will allow him to succeed in leading the United States.
47ABC spoke with Maryland lawmaker Senator Jim Mathias, and he believes the more people that enter the presidential race, the better.
He goes on, “The more voices that we hear as we approach this presidential election, that’s good. It’s good for our citizens on the shore and Maryland and our great country to be able to make that decision.”
The 2016 Presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday November 8th.
