Wesley Drops Mary Washington In Regular Season Finale

Wesley College men’s basketball team rallied from a ten point halftime defecit to defeat Mary Washington 64-56, improving to 12-13 overall, with a 10-8 mark in the CAC.

After shooting just 26% in the first half, the Wolverines came out scorching in the second, shooting 61% in the second half, and posting 43 points in the second half, more than doubling their first half output of 21.

Wesley was led by guards JW Lawson and AJ Tilghman, both scoring 16 points, a team-high. Forward Wayne Lennon filled up the stat sheet, scoring 9 points, and pulling down 9 rebounds, while also registering four steals and three assists.

Wesley has the fifth seed in the CAC tournament next week.
