Wanted Felton man arrested during Harrington traffic stop

A wanted Felton man is behind bars, after Police in Harrington pulled him over.

Harrington Police say on Saturday, an Officer on patrol noticed a vehicle leaving an abandoned house, and pulled it over. During the stop, the Officer spoke with the driver, 36-year-old Keith Penawell, who said that he was shoveling snow at the home for the property owner.

Police say a computer check on Penawell revealed that he was wanted out of Sussex County Family Court for failure to appear for a hearing on child suppoer. He was then arrested, and processed before being arraigned.

Police say they also gave Penawell a traffic summons for failure to answer summons, and no license in possesion. He is now being held at the Sussex Correctional Institute on $13,200 cash only bail.
